Serrated washers are also known as tooth lock washers, or serrated lock washers at competitive prices. Washers with teeth that are designed to bite into the surface of the material and fasteners. Often used in installations where vibration may cause the nuts and bolts to loosen. There are two varieties including washers with external serrations and a version with internal serrations. Washers with internal serrations offer a cleaner finish if needed.

What are serrated washers?
Serrated washers are washers with teeth that are situated either on the outer edge of the washer or the inner edge. Also know by other names like tooth lock washers, or serrated lock washers.
What are serrated washers used for?
Serrated washers are used in the same way as the more traditional washers but the teeth aid in helping the fastener from not becoming loose. The teeth bite into the materials surface and the surface of the fastener helping to prevent the fastener form becoming loose. Commonly used in places where vibration might be an issue.
